What is youth rugby?

Youth rugby is a process of developing rugby players from kindergarten through high school players. It involves a pathway of development from non-contact "touch" rugby for young players, through to full 15 a side contact rugby for high school level teams. Youth rugby is for both boys and girls.  Come give it a TRY!

Why play youth rugby?

Rugby is one of the worlds most captivating and physical sports. The children participating in this program will learn team work, get physically fit and build a good sense of sportsmanship. Rugby is being discovered all over the United States, where parents, kids and the community are looking for a dynamic activity for boys and girls of all ages. Participating in Providence Youth rugby is a great way for kids to learn something new, build communication skills, meet new friends, and begin a lifelong passion for rugby.  In addition to this, rugby sevens has been reintroduced as an Olympic Sport!
